Part One

CHASING THE BEASTS

The Black Stallion film from 1976 was the first movie in my childhood that left a birthmark in my life with the nurturing of my obsession with horses.   The connection I feel with horses has traveled with me throughout my life and my first turning point arrived the moment I found myself lost on a dirt road overlooking mountains filled with horses.

I was traveling to my first photography safari of shooting wild mustang herds ..
