Part One

CHASING THE BEASTS

The Black Stallion film from 1976 was the first movie in my childhood that left a birthmark in my life nurturing my obsession with horses.   The connection I feel with horses has traveled with me throughout my life and my first turning point arrived the moment I found myself lost on a dirt road overlooking mountains filled with horses.

I was traveling to my first photography safari of shooting wild mustang herds ..

WHY I DO

WHAT I DO

Have you ever had a life changing experience that altered the course of your life?

I had one big one and his name is Hunter. The seven years I spent with him, galloping alongside mountain cliffs, living a childhood dream I had only dreamt about, led me to the light of my life’s purpose. I love to share my horses with people to inspire their dreams through telling my story of how I created my dream life of rescuing horses and photographing them.

““Feeling a connection to our world is something we all have in common in the human experience and horses escort us to a place where we can express ourselves freely.”

— LISA FARA
